Why is my Emerson Fan so noisy?
    • K
      Kevin LopezJul 30, 2025
If your Emerson Fan is making noise, ensure the blades are properly attached. Check all screws in the motor housing to confirm they are snug, but not over-tightened. Also, verify that the screws securing the fan blade flanges to the motor hub are tight. Make sure main power is turned off before checking the screws which attach the fan flanges to the motor hub. Additionally, inspect the wire connectors inside the switch housing to ensure they are not rattling against each other or the housing's interior wall. Finally, tighten the screws holding the blades to the flanges.

      jesusriosAug 10, 2025
If your Emerson Fan wobbles excessively, begin by raising the motor cover and tightening the setscrew securely. Next, ensure that the setscrew in the hanger ball/downrod assembly is also tightened. Check that the screws securing the fan blade flanges to the motor hub are tight. Verify that the fan blade flanges seat firmly and uniformly to the surface of the motor hub; if not, loosen and retighten the flange screws. Ensure the hanger bracket and ceiling outlet box are securely fastened. Lastly, try interchanging an adjacent blade pair to redistribute weight or use the supplied balancing kit.
