Usage Features

The oven offers a range of operational features controlled via a touch-sensitive LED display:

  • Turn On and Off: The oven can be turned on and off by touching the power icon.
  • Set Up Clock (24 hours): The clock can be set by touching the clock icon, with hour and minute adjustments using the up/down arrow keys.
  • Function Selection: The oven offers various cooking modes, including:
    • Roast: Default temperature 410°F (210°C).
    • Preheat: Default temperature 410°F (210°C).
    • Convection Bake: Default temperature 428°F (220°C).
    • Convection Broil: Default temperature 410°F (210°C).
    • Broil: Default temperature 410°F (210°C).
    • Convection Roast: Default temperature 446°F (230°C).
    • True Convection Roast: Default temperature 446°F (230°C).
    • Bake: Default temperature 140°F (60°C).
    • Rotisserie: Default temperature 410°F (210°C).
    • Defrost: Default temperature 140°F (60°C).
  • Temperature Adjustment: For most functions, the temperature can be adjusted within a specified range (e.g., between 104°F and 446°F for Roast).
  • Time Adjustment: Cooking time can be set between 0 and 9 hours, or 0 and 59 minutes, depending on the function.
  • Child Lock: The oven features a child lock function to prevent accidental operation. To activate, touch the lock icon for more than 4 seconds. To unlock, touch the lock icon again for more than 4 seconds.
  • Delay Function: The oven supports a delay start function for scheduled cooking.
  • Accessories: The oven comes with a baking tray, a grill grate (drying rack), and a rotisserie.

Energy Saving Tips:

  • Do not uncover the pan too often.
  • Switch off the oven in good time and make use of residual heat.
  • For long cooking times, switch off heating zones 5 to 10 minutes before finishing cooking.
  • Only use the oven when cooking larger dishes.
  • Make use of residual heat from the oven.
  • Do not install the cooker in the direct vicinity of refrigerators/freezers.

Maintenance Features

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the oven's longevity and safe operation.

  • General Cleaning:
    • The sharp blade should always be protected when cleaning to prevent injuries.
    • Use appropriate light cleaning or washing products for cleaning products, such as those for fat removal.
    • For stainless steel sinks, use recommended products that are not abrasive.
  • Oven Cleaning:
    • The oven should be cleaned after every use.
    • When cleaning the oven, the lighting should be switched on to better see the surfaces.
    • The oven chamber should only be washed with warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid.
    • After cleaning, wipe the oven chamber dry.
  • Steam Cleaning:
    • Pour 250ml of water (1 glass) into a bowl placed in the oven on the first level from the bottom.
    • Close the oven door.
    • Set the temperature knob to 125°F (50°C) and the function knob to the bottom heater position.
    • Heat the oven chamber for approximately 30 minutes.
    • Open the oven door, wipe the chamber inside with a cloth or sponge, and wash using warm water with washing-up liquid.
    • Ensure no moisture or water residues remain from steam cleaning.
  • Replacement of the Oven Light Bulb:
    • Disconnect the mains plug before replacing the bulb.
    • Set all control knobs to the "OFF"/"STOP" position and disconnect the mains plug.
    • Unscrew and remove the lamp cover, then wipe it dry.
    • Unscrew the light bulb from the socket and replace it with a new one (575°F/300°C, voltage 220-240V, power 15W, thread E14).
    • Screw in the lamp cover.
  • Door Removal:
    • To remove the door for cleaning, tilt the safety catch part of the hinge upwards.
    • Close the door lightly, lift and pull it out towards you.
    • To refit, insert the door back on to the cooker, do the inverse.
    • Ensure the notch of the hinge is correctly placed on the protrusion of the hinge holder.
    • The door is fitted when the safety catch is lowered down again.
    • If the safety catch is not set, it may cause damage to the hinge when closing the door.
  • Removal of the Internal Glass Panel:
    • Unscrew and unfasten the plastic latch that is in the corner at the top of the door.
    • Next, take out the glass from the second blocking mechanism and remove.
    • After cleaning, insert and block the glass panel, and screw in the blocking mechanism.

Troubleshooting:

  • Appliance does not work: Check for a break in power supply; check the household fuse box, if there is a blown fuse replace it with a new one.
  • Oven lighting does not work: The bulb is loose or damaged; tighten up or replace the blown bulb (see chapter Cleaning and Maintenance).
  • Sensor protection (E1 error): When the sensor is not connected or turns off, the display will show E1. Other function icons will not display, warning with a burner.
  • Over temperature protection (E2 error): When the oven cavity temperature reaches the thermostat 180°C (355°F), the oven will turn off.

Safety Instructions:

  • Ensure there is a grounded socket nearby.
  • A dedicated power circuit is recommended.
  • Installation must be performed by qualified persons to avoid harm to persons, animals, or property damage.
  • The power supply to the appliance must be cut off before any adjustments or maintenance work.
  • Do not use the oven until you have read the instruction manual.
  • The oven is intended for household use only.
  • Do not use the oven if the door is hot during operation.
  • Always keep children away from the cooker.
  • Do not use harsh cleaning agents or sharp metal objects to clean the door.
  • Do not use the cooker in the event of a technical fault.
  • In the event of any incident caused by a technical fault, disconnect the power and report the fault to the service center.
  • The rules and provisions contained in this instruction manual should be strictly observed.
  • Do not allow anybody who is not familiar with the contents of this instruction manual to operate the cooker.
  • The cooker should not be cleaned using steam cleaning equipment.
  • The panels adjacent to the oven must be made of heat-resistant material.
  • Cabinets with a veneer exterior must be assembled with glues that can withstand temperatures up to 100°C.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as curtains, drapes, furniture, pillows, clothing, linens, bedding, paper, etc., at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front sides and rear of the heater.
  • Do not use this unit in areas where gasoline, paint, other flammable liquids, or their associated vapors may be present.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, do not place or install this unit in areas where the ventilation or circulation ducts may become blocked.
  • The unit's power cord must be connected to a properly grounded and protected, 220-240V electrical outlet.
  • Always use ground fault protection where required by the electrical code.
  • Avoid running the power cord under rugs, carpets, etc.
  • Avoid the use of an extension cord, which may overheat and cause a fire.
  • When transporting or storing the unit, keep it in a dry location, free from dust, excessive vibration or other factors, which may damage the unit.
  • Do not operate any oven with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
  • Use the oven only as described in this manual.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Never add cold water to food on a hot universal tray or baking tray or directly onto food in a hot oven.
  • Do not lift the oven by the handle.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young children should be kept away.
  • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass.
  • Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
