Troubleshooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Low oil flow rate Inadequate air supply Check air supply for leakage
Low oil level Replenish oil in pump
Dirty air filter Clean air filter in RFL
Reservoir bladder malfunction Contact Enerpac service center
Moisture under pump Condensed water from exhaust air Check air dryer in air supply system
Too much lubrication in intake air Adjust air lubricator of RFL unit
Oil from reservoir overflow Do not connect pump to retracted cylinder/actuator
Oil from internal leakage Contact Enerpac service center
Pump feels cold Temperature drop from expanding air Is normal after intensive use - and is not a problem
Pump feels hot Oil temperature < 60 ºC / 140 ºF Is not a problem
Oil temperature > 60 ºC / 140 ºF Check oil level - replenish oil if level is low
Use pump intermittent to let oil cool down
Use pump with larger usable oil capacity
