Why is my Epiroc HB 4100 Industrial Equipment hydraulic breaker operating too slowly?
    • J
      Julie TurnerAug 12, 2025
If your Epiroc Industrial Equipment hydraulic breaker is operating too slowly, the issue might stem from several factors. Begin by checking the engine speed and/or mode stage of the carrier, as well as the operating pressure, and make any necessary adjustments. Ensure that the connecting fitting in the pressure and tank line is securely tightened. Verify that the shut-off valve in the pressure and/or tank line is fully open. Inspect the oil filter and oil cooler for excessive flow resistance, cleaning or replacing them as needed. Lastly, confirm that the gas pressure in the piston accumulator isn't too high; if it is, release some gas.

How to fix low impact force on Epiroc Industrial Equipment?
    • R
      robert55Aug 18, 2025
To address a low impact force issue on your Epiroc Industrial Equipment, begin by checking the gas pressure. If the gas pressure is too low fill the piston accumulator. Also, check the pump of the hydraulic installation to ensure it delivers sufficient oil; if it doesn't, compare its characteristic with a measuring device to the original details and renew the pump if required.

What to do if oil leaks from ports »P« und »T« in Epiroc HB 4100 Industrial Equipment?
    • V
      vleachAug 22, 2025
If oil is leaking from ports »P« and »T« on your Epiroc Industrial Equipment, check the cap nuts and tighten them. Also, if the hose connection CL to port »P« for ContiLube® II or the plug is loose and ContiLube® II has not been installed, check the cap nuts and plugs and tighten them.

Why is the impact rate too high and impact force too low in Epiroc HB 4100?
    • C
      Charles AvilaAug 28, 2025
If the impact rate is too high and the impact force is too low in your Epiroc Industrial Equipment, check the gas pressure and fill the piston accumulator, as there may be no gas in the piston accumulator.

What to do if oil escapes between the cylinder cover and the cylinder of Epiroc HB 4100?
    • J
      Jesse MurphySep 1, 2025
If oil is escaping between the cylinder cover and the cylinder of your Epiroc Industrial Equipment, it could be due to loose tensioning bolts. Check the tensioning bolts and tighten them. Alternatively, the seals might be damaged, in which case you should replace them.

What to do if Epiroc HB 4100 Industrial Equipment hydraulic breaker does not start?
    • K
      Kathy OwenNov 6, 2025
If your Epiroc Industrial Equipment hydraulic breaker doesn't start, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the pressure and tank lines aren't swapped and are correctly connected. Next, check that the shut-off valve in the pressure and/or tank line is open. Also, verify that the gas pressure in the piston accumulator isn't too high, and adjust if necessary. Check that the oil level in the tank is adequate and top up if low. Inspect couplings for defects and replace any faulty ones. Examine the electrical system for faults and correct them. If the magnet on the switch-on valve is damaged, replace it. Ensure the operating pressure isn't too low by checking the carrier engine speed, pump delivery, and pressure relief valve, adjusting settings or replacing parts as needed. Finally, c...
