10. Press the hook on both sides of the separation pad and remove.

Attach the new separation pad to the correct position.
Insert rmly until you hear it click into place.

Important:
Do not touch the surface of the separation pad.
12. Attach the pre-separation pad as shown in the illustration.
13. Close the ADF cover.
14. Plug the AC adapter, and then turn on the scanner.
15. Reset the scan number on the control panel or by using Epson Scan 2 Utility.
