❏ If you are using the scanner with the Network Interface Unit, make sure the network cable is securely
connected.
❏ Make sure the scanner is turned on.
❏ Wait until the status light stops ashing indicating that the scanner is ready to scan.
❏ If you are using any TWAIN-compliant applications, make sure that the correct scanner is selected as the
scanner or source setting.

Paper Feeding Problems
The paper jams in the ADF
If paper jams inside the ADF, open the ADF and remove any paper from the document glass. en look to see if
paper is extending from either end of the feeder.
To clear the jammed paper, follow these steps.
Note:
Remove any pages remaining at either end of the ADF.
1. Turn o the product.
2.
If the ADF is open, close it.
3. Open the ADF cover.
