Environmental
Paper
Use recycled paper, multipart paper, labels, envelopes, and roll
paper only under normal temperature and humidity conditions,
as follows:
Temperature 59 to 77 °F (15 to 25 °C)
Humidity 30 to 60% RH
Do not load paper that has been folded or is damaged,
wrinkled, or curled.
Single sheets, front or rear entry
* 7.2 to 8.5 inches (182 to 216 mm) using the optional cut-sheet
feeder for FX-890.
7.2 to 16.5 inches (182 to 420 mm) using the optional cut-sheet
feeder for FX-2190.
** 8.3 to 14.3 inches (210 to 364 mm) using the optional cut-sheet
feeder.
***0.0028 to 0.0055 inch (0.07 to 0.14 mm) using the optional
cut-sheet feeder.
Single-sheet multipart forms (for the optional front
sheet or front paper guide only):
Continuous paper (ordinary and multipart):
Do not load thick paper, such as multipart forms with five or six
parts, in the rear slot.
The ratio of the cut/uncut length at the perforation should be
between 3:1 and 5:1.
The thickness of the perforation part when extended should be
1 mm or less.
The perforation between pages should not extend all the way to
the edges of the paper. Uncut length on the edges should be
1 mm or more.
The horizontal and vertical perforation cuts should not cross.
