Access the Epson Printer Utility 4.

Click the Printer Settings button. The Printer Settings screen appears.

Select Off, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, or 12 hours as the Power Off Timer setting.

Select 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes as the Sleep Timer setting.
E
Click the Apply button.
Quieter Printer Operations
Note:
This function is only available for L1300.
You can make printer operations quiet without changing the print quality. However, printing speed might be reduced.
For Windows
A
Access the printer settings.

In the Main window, select Off or On as the Quiet Mode.
For Mac OS X
A
Click System Preferences on the Apple menu.

Click Printers & Scanners (for Mac OS X 10.9), Print & Scan (for Mac OS X 10.8 or 10.7) or Print & Fax
(for Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.5), and then select your product from the Printers list box.

Click Options & Supplies, and then Driver.
D
Select Off or On as the Quiet Mode.
