Make sure batteries are installed. Follow these
tips for using the remote control:
Point the remote control at the front of the projector or at the
screen.
Stand within 49 feet (15 meters) of the projector.
Controlling the Picture
You can use the remote control to preview and select your picture
sources, temporarily turn o the picture, freeze the action, and zoom
in on the picture.
Switching Between Picture Sources
If your projector is connected to more than one computer and/or
video source, you can switch between the dierent sources:
The easiest way to select your source is to press the Search button
on the remote control (or the
Source Search button on the
projector) repeatedly until you see the image you want on the
screen.
On the remote control, you can press one of the Source buttons
to select the connected device you need.
After you select a source, the screen goes dark for a moment before the
image appears.
note
If a button is pressed longer

How to fix Epson Software when projectors cannot be monitored or controlled?
    • J
      josephstewartAug 9, 2025
If Epson projectors cannot be monitored or controlled, first, ensure the network cable is correctly connected; reconnect if necessary. Check the Network configuration settings. Next, uninstall and reinstall EasyMP Monitor. Then, register the projectors you intend to control or monitor. Finally, verify that the projector's Standby Mode is set to Communication On (or Network On) or Network Monitoring is set to On in the configuration menu. When the projector is in standby mode, the projector's Standby Mode must be set to Communication On (or Network On) or Network Monitoring must be set to On in the configuration menu in order to use EasyMP Monitor to monitor and control the projector.

What to do if an e-mail message is not sent when a problem occurs with an Epson Software projector?
    • G
      Grant LewisAug 23, 2025
If an e-mail message isn't being sent when a problem occurs with an Epson projector, check that the SMTP server IP address, Port Number, and Recipient mail address have all been set correctly. Also, ensure the projector's Standby Mode is set to Communication On (or Network On) or Network Monitoring is set to On in the configuration menu. If a critical problem has caused the projector to momentarily stop working, it cannot send e-mail messages; in this case, if the projector cannot be reset even after it has been checked, contact Epson.
