4.4.18 CDR Tray Sensor
Parts/Components need to be removed in advance
Printer Cover / Paper Support Assy / Upper Housing / Main Board Unit / Panel Assy /
Cover Open Sensor / Printer Mechanism / Ink System / CR Motor / PF Encoder / PF

Removal procedure
1. Disengage the hook of the CDR Tray Sensor.
2. Turn the CDR Tray Sensor 90 degrees in the direction of the arrow to
disengage its another hook, and pull it out from the hole to remove it together
with the CDR Guide Sensor.

Place the four tips of the Front Paper Guide Pad on the Waste
Ink Pad.

When installing Parallelism Bushing L, match the positioning
hole with the guide pin shown in Fig.4-107 (p.96).
Whenever the Front Paper Guide Assy is removed or replaced, the
required adjustments must be carried out.

Always follow the steps below to remove the CDR Tray Sensor, or
one of its hooks can be broken.
