Getting Started . . .
3.
Fill suitable saw chain oil into the tank using a funnel tted with a lter to avoid debris
entering the tank. Do not overll and leave approximately 5 mm of space between
the top of the oil and the inside edge of the tank to allow for expansion (Fig. 11).
NOTE: Only use chainsaw oil or adhesive oil for the product. Do not use oil
containing impurities so as not to block the oil lter and to prevent irreparable
damage to the oil pump. Poor quality oil does not guarantee good lubrication
and reduces the working life of the saw chain (3) and guide bar (2).
NOTE: Always rell the oil tank completely (using a funnel) every time when
relling the fuel tank. Since the oil tank capacity is enough to guarantee that
the fuel runs out rst, the risk of operating the machine without lubrication could
thus be avoided. Towards the end of the season, it is advisable to put only as
much lubricant in the tank as you need for each cut, so that it is completely
used up before you store the product.

Wipe up spilled saw chain oil with a soft cloth. Ret and screw the oil tank cap rmly
by turning it clockwise (Fig. 10).
NOTE: Always dispose of used saw chain oil and objects contaminated with
them in accordance with local regulations.
