Cleaning
NOTE: Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or other aggressive detergents
or disinfectants to clean this equipment as they might be harmful to its surfaces.
Cleaning the housing
> Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the housing.
> Do not emerge the equipment into water or any liquids.

Clean the ventilation openings on the bottom and at the side cover of the engine
with a soft brush. Clogged ventilation openings might cause the engine to overheat.
> Use compressed air (max. 3 bar) to remove stubborn dirt.
> Wipe the surface with a dry cloth afterwards.
Cleaning the cutting device
> Keep the cutting device (8) clean and free of debris. Remove trimmings.

Keep the cutting device (8) sharp. Have a worn or damaged cutting device replaced
with a new one of the same type by an authorised service centre or a similarly
qualied person.
> Apply a small amount of suitable lubricant on the cutting device (8) to retain a good
cutting performance (Fig. 23).

Tighten loose nuts on the cutting device (8) with a proper wrench (with 5 Nm to (with 5 Nm to
7 Nm)7 Nm) to ensure safe operation (Fig. 24).
