7.3 Dismantling
The product must be cleaned and disinfected while it is disman-
tled and the jaws are open.
1. Press both release buttons (1) at the same time and pull the
shaft tube out of the handle.
2. Unscrew the insert on the joint sleeve (2) out of the shaft
tube.
3. Pull the insert out of the shaft tube.
CAUTION! Never pull the instrument jaws apart by hand to pre-
vent damaging the instrument.
4. To open the instrument jaws, hold the insert on the joint
sleeve (1) and slide the rod (2) towards the instrument jaws.
