5.10 Cleaning or replacing UV lamps and
filter panels in the canopy
– Removing the canopy panel: see page 41.
The following components listed in the maintenance plan are fitted in the
canopy:
y 1.80 m UV low pressure lamps
y Facial tanner UV low pressure lamps and the associated starter
y Facial tanner UV high pressure lamps
y Facial tanner filter panels
The facial tanner's UV low pressure lamps must be removed first so that the
UV high presure lamps and the filter panels can be changed.
AFFINITY 500-S, 600-S, 660-S:
These devices have 2 UV low pressure lamps in the facial tanner.
– Remove the lamps.
AFFINITY 800-S, 880-S:
These devices have 3 UV low pressure lamps in the facial tanner.
– Remove the lamps.
– Remove the two upper low pressure lamps in the canopy so that you can
thenaccess the facial tanner's low pressure lamp starter.

Changing the chip card (AFFINITY 660-S, 880-S): see page 44.
