The
front
panel
switchesand
indicatorsmay be
usedto
configurepanel
operation,
without
the
the
needfor
additional
programming
tools.For
complex
panel
s,
front
panel
confi•guration
method
is
time
consumingand
providesno
hard
copy
recordofthe
panels
configuration.
When
panel
configuration
is of a
complex
nature,a
Personal
Computer
(PC)
withthe
LSS4
Panel
Confi•_uration
Program
installed
makesthe
confieuration
process
fast
and
easy,and may be
usedto
store
copiesofthepanel
configurationfor
future
changes.
The
standard
(defaul
t)
configurationofthe
LSS4
panelhas
all
four
Initiating
Device
Circuitsactivating
both
Notification
Appliance
circuits.
NAC 1
is
definedas
audible,
silenceable;and
NAC2
is
definedasv
isual,
non-silenceable.No
addressable
option
modules
havebeen
definedand
the
alarm
silenced
resetinhibit
function
is
disabled.
