This step configuresthe alarm silence/reset
si_•nal cutoff timer,the6 hour AC/brownout
verification alarm increment timer.
Referrin•to your LSS4 worksheet,setthe
parameters using°the following procedure:
1 Verify al1 batteriesare disconnected.
inhibit timer,the alarm
trouble delay timer,and the
panelto configurethe system
2 ApplyACpowertothe LSS4andtheLSSPS power supplies (if any).
Restore powertothe LSSPS power suppl ies ONLY.

Depressand hold downthe ALARMS ILENCE [enter]sw itch.
Pressand releasethe59 progrmming switchwhile holdingthe
ALARM SILENCE [enter] switch down.the releasethe ALARM
SILENCE [enter] switch.Ifthe four yellow LSS4 zone trouble LEDs
illuminate,you must wait until theyare extinguishedbefore releasing
the ALARM SILENCE [enter] switch.
The NORMALLEDandOonthe display indicatethe panel is in the
select system parameter configuration mode.

Pressthe RESET (increment] switchto step throughthe control panel
confi•_urationselections until configure system parameters is
indicated: NORMALLEDONanda0inthe system display.
Pressthe ALARM SILENCE [enter] switchto enterthe system
parameter configuration mode.

If NO alarm silence/reset inhibitor alarm signal cutoff timersare
required,use the RESET {increment] switchto stepto selection0 in
the system status display. Enter this selectionby pressinethe
ALARM SILENCE [enter] switch.
8a Ifthe alarm silence/reset inhibit feature is required,use the RESET
[increment] switchto stepto selection1 inthe system status display.
Pressthe ALARM SILENCE {enter] switchto enterthe alarm
s ilence/reset inhibit option.

Pressthe RESET [increment] switchto incrementthed isplay fromO
through9, representinga 10 through90 minute delayforthe alarm
silence/reset inhibit option. Pressthe ALARM SILENCE [enter]
switchro enterthe "tens digit" delay time indicatedinthe display.
8c Continueto pressthe RESET [increment] switch incrementingthe
display, representinga 0 through9 minute delayforthe alarm
silence/reset inhibit option. Pressthe ALARMS ILENCE [enter]
switchto enterthe "units digit" delay time indicatedinthe display.
The "tens digit" previously enteredin stepB8b addedtothe "units
digit" makeupthe total alarm silence/reset inhibit time. Enteringthe
"units" di_•it automatic ally returnsthe systemtothe system
parameters level1 menu (NORMALLEDON&"0"inthe display.)
9a Ifthe alarm signal cutoff features is required,usethe RESET
[increment] switchto stepto selection2 inthe system status display.
