6.1 [TWIN] function block
Parameters to be set
Set or check the following parameters.
Detailed descriptions of the parameters are provided
below.
Explanation of [Start lag]
This parameter is used to set the length of the delay in
operation of the pellet burner after the buffer has
demanded heat.
If there is still a demand from the buffer after this
period, then the pellet burner will begin operation.
Explanation of [MixValve runtime]
This parameter sets the running time for the mixing
valve actuator, the time needed to turn it from the
closed to the fully open position.
Set the running time according to the information
on the mixing valve actuator's type plate.
Explanation of [Start idle time]
This parameter is used to select the time after which
the TWIN pellet burner no longer performs de-ashing.
The log boiler's turbulators are also operated during
this de-ashing.
The duration of this idle time is set by the [Duration idle
time] parameters.
The time and duration are best set to match those
of the log boiler.
Explanation of [Duration idle time]
The [Duration idle time] parameter is used to select the
duration of the de-ashing idle time for TWIN pellet
burner.
The start time for the idle time is set with the [Start idle
time] parameter.
The idle time should be kept as short as possible.
If noise is not expected to be a nuisance, you
should reduce the value to 0 hours.
Explanation of [Empty ash box after]
This parameter adjusts the quantity of pellets used,
after which a reminder to empty the ash box is
displayed on the screen.
If the ash box is then only partially full, this quantity can
be increased. If you set the value to zero, the reminder
will no longer appear.
