The steamer basket is based on the principle of cooking with steam and has been
designed for fast, healthy cooking in your Etna microwave. In using cooking with steam,
the microwave function is used.
This accessory is ideal for preparing rice, pasta, vegetables, etc. in record time, while
preserving their nutritional values.
The steamer basket has three components:
All components are suitable for
microwave use and can withstand
temperatures from -20°C tot 140°C.
Suitable for storing in a freezer. Can
be used separately or in combination.
Use
•
Do not use:
To cook dishes with a high sugar or fat content.
On agrill setting or on a hob.

Before first use, wash the basket thoroughly in soapy water.
•
Consult the steaming table for cooking times.
Maintenance
•
The steamer basket can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
•
When washing by hand, use warm water with detergent. Do not use abrasives.
•
Some dishes (such as dishes with tomato) can discolour the plastic.
Defrosting:
•
Put frozen dishes in the steamer basket without using the lid. The moisture remains at the
bottom of the bowl and does not aect the dish.
