Getting Started
Unpacking
• Packaging: This product has been packaged to protect it against
transportation damage. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging
in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be
transported in the future, and you can use it to store the appliance when it is
not in use. In the event that the packaging is to be disposed of, please recycle
it where possible.
• Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children,
so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach and disposed of safely.
• Check for damage: Visually inspect the power supply cord and plug, and
all other parts of the appliance, for damage. Check and ensure that no
foreign material is blocking the air inlet and outlet. Do not use the appliance
if anything appears to be damaged or not working properly.
• Documentation: Make sure you have read and understood all instructions
and warnings in this manual. Refer to the Product Overview on pages 6–7
to familiarise yourself with the product and identify all parts. Pay particular
attention to the safety instructions on the previous pages.
• Assembly: The appliance comes fully assembled.
Using the remote control
• The appliance comes with a remote control, which is powered by a CR2032
3V lithium button cell (supplied inside). Before use, please pull out the small
plastic flap that separates the contacts.
• During use, point the remote control towards the infrared receiver at the front
of the appliance. Make sure there are no obstructions along the path of the
signal as these will hinder the performance of the remote.
• Handle the remote control with care. Do not drop it to the ground.
• The remote control may be placed in the holder at the back of the appliance
for easy accessibility.
WARNING!
