Safety Tips: Good practices for using tempered (toughened) glass induction hobs and gas hobs.
All installatio n work, repairing and servicing of the tempered glass induction hobs or
gas hobs must be carried out by qualified personnel by (1) choose an authorized
contractors recommended b y the hobs manufacturer where possible, (2) engage a
licensed gas personnel for all gas s ervice work such as connec ting or
disconnecting gas hobs t o the main gas supply pipe, (3) choose a licensed
electrician for all electrical work like connecting the induction hobs to the mains
electricity supply.
Always be cautious and careful when usi ng or handl ing hard heavy or sharp
objects near or over the tempered glass hob appliances to avoid damaging the
tempered glass. Even minor scratches may possibly and over the times can
eventually result in shatter ing the tempered glass.
Immediately stop us ing the appl iances and report for any abnormality or damages
to the manufacturer, authorized agent or service center such as cracked, chipped
glass, clogged or burners not functioning properly.
Clean the hobs and glass surface r egularly to remove food residue, f oreign objects
or liquid spillage. (1) Pay attention when cleaning the gas hob burners to avoid from
being clogged up by spillage, (2) Make sure that the spillage does not leak into the
hob’s interior throu gh the burner which it will cause the internal components to rust.
Avoid the tempered glass surface of the gas hob from overheating.
