Safety Tips: In the case, if the tempered (toughened) glass of the hob shatters
(1) Stay calm while the shatter may cause a cracking noise, the tempered glass will
crumble into small rounded pieces which are less likely to cause severe injury.

(3) Clean up the glass fragments and keep them out of reach of children.
(4) Makeareport of the incident to the manufacturer of the appliance, and
provide the following information when reporting the inc

Date of purchase
Serial number
Proof of purc hase such as a receipt, warranty card
Description of incident (i.e. time of the incident, activity prior to
shattering of glass, etc.

(5) Provide the damaged appliance as it may be examined or sent for
testing as part of the investigation process.
