h) If the linkage does not measure 7-3/8” (18.7 cm) or still does not disengage as
desired, remove the bolt that secures the ball joint to the brake lever and
loosen the jam nut next to the ball joint. Rotate the ball joint in half-turns
counter-clockwise until desired disengagement is obtained.
i) Repeat procedure for other side.
4.2.5 Motion control linkage adjustment

maintenance relying solely on mechanical
or hydraulic jacks could be dangerous.

♦ The mechanical or hydraulic jacks may
not be enough support or may
malfunction allowing the unit to fall, which
could cause injury.

♦ DO NOT rely solely on mechanical or
hydraulic jacks for support. Use adequate
jack stands or equivalent
