What to do if my Exmark Lawn Mower starter does not crank?

  If the starter on your Exmark Lawn Mower doesn't crank, here are a few things to check: 1. Ensure the PTO is disengaged. 2. Make sure the parking brake is set. 3. Confirm the drive levers are in the neutral lock position. 4. Check and charge the battery if it doesn't have a full charge. See Check Battery Charge and Recommended Jump Starting Procedure sections in Maintenance. 5. Inspect electrical connections for corrosion, looseness, or faults; clean the terminals with electrical contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and reconnect. 6. Replace the fuse if it's blown. 7. Replace module if faulty.

  Abnormal vibration in your Exmark Lawn Mower can stem from several issues: * Bent or unbalanced cutting blades, so install new cutting blade(s). * Loose blade mounting bolt, so tighten the blade mounting bolt. * Loose engine mounting bolts, so tighten the engine mounting bolts. * Loose engine pulley, idler pulley, or blade pulley, so tighten the appropriate pulley.

  If your Exmark Lawn Mower pulls to the left or right, it might be due to incorrect tire pressure in the drive tires. Adjust the tire pressure in the drive tires to correct this.

  Uneven cutting height on your Exmark Lawn Mower can be caused by: * Dull blades, so sharpen the blade(s). * Bent cutting blades, so install new cutting blade(s). * An unlevel mower deck, so level mower deck from side-to-side and front-to-rear. * A dirty mower underside, so clean the underside of the mower. * Incorrect tire pressure, so adjust tire pressure in the drive tires. * Tips of adjacent blades are at an uneven cutting height, so replace blades, spindles and (or) check for damage to mower deck.
