RemovingtheElements:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengagethe
bladecontrolswitch,movethemotioncontrol
leverstothebrakeposition,stoptheengine,
removethekey,andwaituntilallmovingparts
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Cleanaroundtheaircleanercovertopreventdirt
fromgettingintotheengineandcausingdamage.
3.Liftthecover,loosenthehoseclamp,andremove
thepaperelement.

CleaningthePaperElement:
1.Lightlytaptheelementonaatsurfacetoremove
dustanddirt.
2.Inspecttheelementfortears,anoilylm,and
damagetotheseal.
Important:Donotcleanthepaperelement
withpressurizedairorliquids,suchas
solvent,gas,orkerosene.Replacethepaper
elementifitisdamagedorcannotbecleaned
thoroughly.

andruntheengine;enginedamagemayresult.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
thebladecontrolswitch,stoptheengine,engage
parkingbrake,andremovethekey.
2.Makesuretheengineisstopped,level,andiscool
sotheoilhashadtimetodrainintothesump.
3.Tokeepdirt,grassclippings,etc.,outof
theengine,cleantheareaaroundtheoilll
cap/dipstickbeforeremovingit.
4.Checktheengineoillevel.
