Maintenance
1.Drivethemachineontoalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),move
themotioncontrolleverstotheneutrallocked
positionandsettheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,
andremovethekey.
4.Setupthemachinetobepushedbyhand(see
DriveWheelReleaseValvesintheOperation
section).
5.Raisethebackofthemachineupandsupportthe
machinewithjackstands.
6.Engage/disengagethebrakeandcheckeachdrive
tiretomakesureeachbrakeengages/disengages.
7.Ifadjustmentisnecessary,disengagethepark
brake.Removecotterpinfromthebrakelinkage
shaft(seeFigure72).

anddown.Rotatethebrakelinkageshaftuntilthe
endalignswithholeinlever.
•Shortenthelinkagebyturningitclockwise.
•Lengthenthelinkagebyturningit
counterclockwise.
Insertthebrakelinkageshaftintoparkingbrake
holeandsecurewiththecotterpin.Repeatstep6
andreadjustifnecessary.
10.Whenadjustmentiscomplete,removethejack
standsorequivalentsupportandlowerthe
machine.
11.Placethemachineintothe“operating”position.
