  Your Exmark Lawn Mower might not start due to several reasons. The fuel tank could be empty, so fill it up. The fuel shutoff valve might be closed, so open it. Ensure the throttle is midway between the “SLOW” and “FAST” positions, and the choke is in the “ON” position for a cold engine or the “OFF” position for a warm engine. Also, the fuel filter could be dirty, in which case you should replace it. Other potential issues include a dirty air cleaner (clean or replace it), corroded electrical connections (check and clean them), a faulty spark plug (clean, adjust, or replace it), or a disconnected spark plug wire (check the connection).

If there is inadequate current supply, repair or replace the clutch lead wire or electrical system and clean connector contacts. Remove a shim or replace the clutch if the rotor/armature airgap is too large.
