1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekeyorsparkplugwire(s).Engageparking
brake.
2.RemovetheRHsideguard.

5.Unscrewltertoremoveandallowoiltodrain
fromreservoir.

athincoatofoilonthesurfaceoftherubber
seal.
Turnlterclockwiseuntilrubbersealcontactsthe
lteradapter,thentightenthelteranadditional
2/3to3/4turn.
6.FillreservoirasstatedinCheckHydraulicOil
Level.

7.Loosenlter1/2turnandallowasmallamount
ofoiltoleakfromtheoillter(thisallowsairto
bepurgedfromtheoillterandsupplyhosefrom
thehydraulicreservoir).Turnlterclockwise
untilrubbersealcontactsthelteradapter.Then
tightenthelteranadditional2/3to3/4turn.
8.Raisetherearofmachineupandsupportwith
jackstands(orequivalentsupport)justhigh
enoughtoallowdrivewheelstoturnfreely.
CAUTION
Raisingthemowerforserviceormaintenance
relyingsolelyonmechanicalorhydraulic
jackscouldbedangerous.Themechanicalor
hydraulicjacksmaynotbeenoughsupport
ormaymalfunctionallowingtheunittofall,
whichcouldcauseinjury.
DoNotrelysolelyonmechanicalorhydraulic
jacksforsupport.Useadequatejackstands
orequivalentsupport.
9.Startengineandmovethrottlecontrolaheadto
fullthrottleposition.Movemotioncontrollevers
inward(together)andmovebothleversforward
withequalpressure,andrunforoneminute.Shut
downthemachine,allowthehydrostocooland
recheckoillevel.
Ifeitherdrivewheeldoesnotrotate,oneorboth
ofthechargepumps(locatedonthetopofthe
mainpumpasshowninFigure25)mayhavelost
their“prime”.RefertoHydraulicSystemAir
Purgesection.
10.ReinstalltheRHsideguard.
11.Removethejackstands.
