oroil,andotherdebriswhichcanaccumulate
intheseareas.Thesematerialscanbecome
combustibleandmayresultinare.
•Frequentlycheckforwornordeteriorating
componentsthatcouldcreateahazard.Tighten
loosehardware.
Transporting
TransportingtheMachine
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthe
machine.Ensurethatthetrailerortruckhasall
necessarylightingandmarkingasrequiredbylaw.
Thoroughlyreadallofthesafetyinstructions.
Knowingthisinformationcouldhelpyou,your
family,pets,orbystandersavoidinjury.
Totransportthemachine:
•Usefullwidthrampswhenloadingthemachine.
•Besurethefuelshut-offvalveisclosed.
•Engagetheparkbrake,thenblockthewheels.Do
Notrelysolelyontheparkingbraketoholdthe
machineonthetrailer.
•Securelyfastenthemachinetothetrailerortruck
withstraps,chains,cable,orropes.Ifpossible,
bothfrontandrearstrapsshouldbedirected
downandoutwardfromthemachine.
•Secureatrailertothetowingvehiclewithsafety
chains.
WARNING
Drivingonthestreetorroadwaywithoutturn
signals,lights,reectivemarkings,oraslow
movingvehicleemblemisdangerousandcan
leadtoaccidentscausingpersonalinjury.
Donotdrivemachineonapublicstreetor
roadway.
LoadingtheMachine
Useextremecautionwhenloadingmachineson
trailersortrucks.Onefullwidthrampthatis
wideenoughtoextendbeyondthereartiresis
recommendedinsteadofindividualrampsforeach
sideofthemachine.Afullwidthrampprovidesa
surfacetowalkonbehindthemachine.Ifitisnot
possibletouseonefullwidthramp,useenough
individualrampstosimulateafullwidthcontinuous
ramp.
Asteeprampanglemaycausecomponentstoget
caughtasthemachinemovesfromramptotraileror
truck.Steeperanglesmayalsocausethemachineto
tipbackward.Ifloadingonornearaslope,position
thetrailerortrucksoitisonthedownsideofthe
slopeandtherampsextendsuptheslope.Thiswill
minimizetherampangle.Thetrailerortruckshould
beaslevelaspossible.
Important:DoNotattempttoturnthemachine
whileontheramp,youmaylosecontroland
driveofftheside.
Avoidsuddenaccelerationwhendrivinguparamp
andsuddendecelerationwhenbackingdowna
ramp.Bothmaneuverscancausethemachinetotip
backward.
WARNING
Loadingamachineonatrailerortruckincreases
thepossibilityofbackwardtip-over.Backward
tip-overcouldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
•Useextremecautionwhenoperatinga
machineonaramp.
•Useonlyasingle,fullwidthramp;DoNotuse
individualrampsforeachsideofthemachine.
•Ifindividualrampsmustbeused,useenough
rampstocreateanunbrokenrampsurface
widerthanthemachine.
•Avoidsuddenaccelerationwhiledriving
machineuparamptoavoidtippingbackward.
•Avoidsuddendecelerationwhilebacking
machinedownaramptoavoidtipping
backward.
