1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuild-uponthe
machineandcuttingdeck,especiallyunderdeck
beltshields,aroundthefueltank,aroundengine
andexhaustarea.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthemachine.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallynearthecontrolpanel,
aroundtheengine,hydraulicpumps,and
motors.

CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,
exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemtooverheat
whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.

2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
4.Cleanoilcoolers(ifequipped)ofalldebris,dirt,
andoil.

ServiceInterval:Every80hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudaccesspanelsfromengine
andcleancoolingns.Alsocleandust,dirt,and
oilfromexternalsurfacesofenginewhichcan
causeimpropercooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudaccesspanelsare
properlyreinstalled.Operatingtheenginewithout
coolingshroudaccesspanelswillcauseengine
damageduetooverheating.

2.Raisedecktothetransport(maximumcutting
height)position.Liftthefrontofunitandsupport
machineusingjackstandsorequivalentsupport.
3.Cleanoutanygrassbuild-upfromundersideof
deckandindischargedeector.

Engineoilandhydraulicoilarebothpollutantsto
theenvironment.Disposeofusedoilatacertied
recyclingcenteroraccordingtoyourstateandlocal
regulations.
