4.1 Connecting to mains / Disconnecting Figure 01
The socket outlet with earthing contact must have at least 10 ampere protection.
We recommend that the wiring in your salon is protected with a residual current
circuit breaker (RCCB) fitted by your electrician.
4.1.1 Connecting to mains
1st
Check the plug
and power cord ① for damage.
NOTE – Power supply voltage
:
The power supply voltage of the appliance can be found on the
rating
plate
under the
filter cover ②
2nd
Turn the filter cover
to the left (anticlockwise) and remove.
3rd
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the information on the. rating
plate ②
4th
Put on the filter cover
and turn it to the right (clockwise) as far as it will
go.
5th
Move the pedestal device to the place where treatment is to be performed.
6th
Insert plug
of pedestal version in a socket.
Insert plug
of the wall-mounted version in a properly earthed socket outlet
with earthing contact
7th
Arrange power cord ① so no-one can trip over it.
4.1.2 Disconnecting from mains
To avoid damage to the Hood dryer, model M41
1st
Do not pull on power cord ①.
2nd
Switch off appliance at ON/OFF switch
.
3rd
Disconnect from mains by gripping and pulling out plug
.
4th
Wind up power cord ① on holder

Position appliance:
1st
Adjust appliance to required height.
• Tilt the pedestal adapter
forwards into the working position.
• Position the appliance centrally over the forehead/nape of the neck so that
the head piece
completely covers the customer’s hair.
• The face and eyes must be outside the head piece
.
• The hair and all curlers must be completely under the head piece
.
• The distance between the customer and the hairdryer dome
should be the
same on all sides.
To ensure customer comfort
• For sensitive customers turn down the temperature and airflow using the
temperature control
and the airflow setting control
.
• Inform your customer that she can stop treatment by pushing up the head
piece
using both hands and moving out of the appliance to the front.
