Overview

The Extech MA1500 is a 1500Amp True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter designed for heavy-duty use, offering a comprehensive range of measurement capabilities.

Function Description:

This clamp meter measures AC Current, DC Current, AC/DC Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Diode Test, Duty Cycle, and Continuity. It features a non-contact voltage detector for safety and an inrush current measurement function to capture transient conditions during motor start-up. The meter also includes MAX/MIN recording mode to display maximum and minimum measured values, and a Peak Hold function to capture waveform peaks. Temperature measurements are supported via a Type K thermocouple.
