TemperatureAlarms
Sethigh/lowalarm limitsasdescribedbelow. Themeterwillthen audiblyandvisuallyalertthe
userifeitherlimitisexceeded:
1. Pressthe ALARM/SETbuttononcefrom thenormaloperatingmode;theupperlimitvalue
anditssymbol(uparrow)willflash.
2. Setthetemperaturelimitbypressingthe▲button(pressandholdforfastscrolling).
3. Nowuse the MAX/MIN button toactivate/deactivate the alarm(alarm symbolwill appear
intheupperrighthandcorneroftheLCDwhenactivated).
4. VerifythesettingbypressingALARM/SET.
5. Performthesamestepsforthelowalarmlimit.
Aftersettingthealarms,theupperandlowerlimit symbols(▲▼)willbedisplayed ontheLCD
indicating that an upper and a lower alert value has been set. If the measured temperature
exceedseither limit, the alarm beeper willsoun dfor 1 minute.The alarm beepericon and the
correspondingarrowwillflash.Pressinganybuttonwillswitchoffthealarm.
When the temperature returns to the desired range the audible alarm will stop sounding. The
arrowwillremainflashinghowevertoshowthatthetemperaturewashigherorlowerthanaset
valueatleastonceinthepast.Pressthe▲buttontoswitchOFFtheflashingarrow.
