Only remove the battery if it is safe to do so. Be sure the battery is not
too warm to touch and there are no obvious signs of damage.
Step 1:
Remove the back battery cover by pressing the raised bumps
towards the bottom of the meter.
Step 2:
Carefully pull straight out on the ribbon. The battery will pop out
of the holder. Make sure to not let the battery fall to the ground.
ATTENTION
Do not incinerate or dispose of lithium batteries in general trash
collection. They may explode or rupture violently. Check state and local
regulations dealing with the disposal of these materials. You are legally
responsible for hazards created while your battery is being disposed.
