Shutting Down and Restarting
Shutting down and restarting the Hub server and member storage requires following the
steps outlines below:
Shutting Down
1. Unmount all volumes from clients.
2. Shut down the Hub server by initiating a normal shutdown from the
Windows 10 start menu.
3. Once the Hub server is fully shut down initiate a normal windows
shutdown for each of the member storage servers.
When starting up a shut down Hub stack make sure the member storage servers boot
completely before starting the Hub server back up.
Restarting
1. Unmount all volumes from clients.
2. Shut down the Hub server by initiating a normal shutdown from the
Windows 10 start menu.
3. Once the Hub server is fully shut down initiate a normal windows restart
for each of the member storage servers.
4. Once the member storage servers have fully rebooted start the Hub
server.
