1. Introduction
Numbering System
The chart below illustrates the Farris Series 2700
valve type numbering system. The type number
is imprinted on the nameplate of every Farris
Series 2700 valve and describes its construction
and metallurgy. Valve types with numbers ending
in “SP” are special valves. Example: 27DA23-
120/SP. Contact the Farris Factory for assistance
when replacement parts or maintenance are
required on these valves.
