Why is the belt burning on my FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle?
    • L
      lindseybowenAug 16, 2025
Belt burning on your FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle can occur due to several reasons. It may be caused by loading the ATV into a pickup or tall trailer when in high range; starting out going up a steep incline; driving at low RPM or low ground speed; insufficient warm-up of ATV’s exposed to low ambient temperatures; slow and easy clutch engagement; towing/pushing at low RPM /low ground speed; getting stuck in mud or snow; or climbing over large objects from a stopped position. To prevent this, shift to low range when loading, starting on inclines, towing, or stuck. Drive at higher speeds or use low range for cooler CVT temperatures. Warm the engine for at least 5 minutes in neutral, and use fast, effective throttle for clutch engagement.

What to do if my FEISHEN K550ATV EEC 4x4 battery is weak?
    • A
      Austin JohnsonAug 19, 2025
If your FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle battery is weak, this may be due to starting a faulty engine for a long time or leaving the main switch (key) on while parking. To resolve this, refer to '8. STARTING THE ENGINE' and check the fuel/air/ignition/compression system. Also, remember to turn off the main switch (key) immediately after stopping the engine.

To prevent belt burning in cold weather with your FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle due to insufficient warm-up, warm the engine for at least 5 minutes with the transmission in neutral. Advance the throttle to approximately 1/8 throttle in short bursts, 5 to 7 times. This will make the belt more flexible.

Why does belt burning happen when driving at low speed with my FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle?
    • R
      Ryan JonesSep 8, 2025
Belt burning can occur on your FEISHEN Offroad Vehicle when driving at low RPM or low ground speed (approximately 3-7 MPH/5-12 km/h). To avoid this, drive at a higher speed or use low range. Using low range is highly recommended for cooler CVT operating temperatures and longer component life.
