CAUTION
If your ATV becomes immersed, take it to your dealer before starting the engine.
Major engine damage can result if the maching is not thoroughly inspected.
If it is impossible to take it to a dealer before starting, follow these steps outlined
below.
·Move the ATV to dry land or at the very least, to water depth not more than 8 in.
(200 mm).
·Turn the fuel valve to “OFF”.
·Remove the spark plug.
·Turn the engine over several times with the electric start.
·Dry the spark plug and reinstall or replace it with a new plug.
·Turn the fuel valve to “ON”.
·Attempt to start the engine. If necessary, repeat the drying procedure.
·Take the machine to your dealer for service as soon as possible, whether you
succeed in starting it or not.
If water has been ingested into the CVT system, take the ATV to your dealer for
service as soon as possible.
Trail Obstacles
Keep Alert!
Look ahead and learn to read the trail as you ride. Stay on the right side of the trail, if
possible, and be constantly alert for hazards such as logs, rocks and low hanging
branches.
