      Your Fellowes Paper Shredder might stop suddenly due to these reasons: 1. The shredder may have exceeded its maximum run time and needs to cool down. Move the power switch to OFF (O) and let the motor cool for a minimum of 15 minutes. 2. A paper jam could be the issue. Make sure the wastebasket is empty, then move the power switch to REVERSE (R) to clear the jam. If it jams in reverse, switch to AUTO (I), press the manual forward button for 5 seconds. Repeat if needed. If the jam persists, turn off the shredder and carefully pull out the paper. After clearing the jam, return the power switch to AUTO (I).
