and centred around the sanding pad (3) and

Removing
● PlacethemachineonitssidewiththeV-belt
cover (11) facing downwards.
● Releasetheclampinglever(5).
● Removethesandingbelt(12).
● Tightentheclampinglever(5).

If the sanding belt does not run parallel with the
outer edge of the housing, the sanding belt must
be centred.
● Turnthecentringknob(6)clockwisetomove
the sanding belt (12) to the inside.
● Turnthecentringknob(6)counterclockwiseto
move the sanding belt (12) to the outside.
USE

● Toswitchonthemachine,presstheon/off
switch (1).
● Toswitchthemachinetocontinuousmode,
keep the on/off switch (1) pressed and
simultaneously press the lock-on button (2).
● Toswitchoffcontinuousmode,pressthe
on/off switch (1) again.
● Toswitchoffthemachine,releasetheon/off
switch (1).

● Insertthedustbag(13)intothedustbag
connection (9).
Hints for optimum use
● Clamptheworkpiece.
● Holdthemachinewithonehandonthemain
grip and the other hand on the auxiliary grip.
● Switchonthemachine.
● Placethesandingbeltontheworkpiece.
● Slowlymovethemachineovertheworkpiece,
rmlypressingthesandingbeltagainstthe
workpiece.
● Donotapplytoomuchpressureonthemachine.
Let the machine do the work.
● Switchoffthemachineandwaitforthemachine
to come to a complete standstill before putting
the machine down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and maintenance,
always switch off the machine and
remove the mains plug from the mains.
● Regularlycleanthehousingwithasoftcloth.
● Keeptheventilationslotsfreefromdustand
dirt. If necessary, use a soft, moist cloth to
remove dust and dirt from the ventilation slots.

Checking and replacing the carbon brushes

The carbon brushes must be checked regularly.
If the carbon brushes are worn, the machine will
start to run unevenly.

Only use the correct type of carbon
brushes.
● Removethecarbonbrushholders(10)using
a screwdriver.
● Cleanthecarbonbrushes.
● Incaseofwear,replacebothcarbonbrushes
at the same time.
● Mountthecarbonbrushholders(10)using
a screwdriver.
● Aftermountingthenewcarbonbrushes,
let the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
