MDS-ADS SYSTEM PROGRAMMING
NOTE 2 -> The following values will be assigned:
- 0 0 0 0, if the house terminals are to be programmed (telephones/monitors) from
the Interior Block ADS panel. See section on house terminal programming
from interior block.
- F F F F, if house terminals are to be programmed (telephones/monitors) from the General
Entrance panel or Guard Unit. See section on house terminal programming from general
entrance.
NOTE 3 -> Leave UNPROGRAMMED (F F F F). Should this value accidentally be
changed, the F F F F value can be reassigned:
- from the MDS DIGITAL panel, by using the bell key.
- from the MDS DIRECT panel, using key "A" of keyboard module.
To program the ADS DECODER, the software versions must be:
* MDS DIRECT outdoor panel version 2.5 or superior.
* MDS DIRECT Guard Unit version 2.5 or superior.

Observations:
It is possible to mix different types of construction within the same residential zone but respecting the
following LIMITATIONS:
a.) - Up to 9 Blocks Type B, (max. 199 Apartments per block).
- Up to 99 Blocks Type C, (max. 99 Apartments per block).
- Up to 999 Blocks Type D, (max. 9 Apartments per block).
- Up to 9999 Dwellings Type A, (max. 9999 Individual Chalets or Villas).
b.) The same address must not be repeated in 2 different decoders although the constructions they are
in are of different TYPES.
Example: There cannot coexist
BLOCK 1 BLOCK 11
APARTMENT 115 APARTMENT 15
as both would have the address 1115and
