Operating Modes
The characteristics of the different operating modes for buildings with one sole Central Guard unit are:
DAY MODE
* The Central Guard Unit can call and receive calls from the telephones.
* The outdoor entry panels cannot call the telephones directly.
* The calls from the entry panel to the telephones are intercepted by the Central
Guard Unit, who can transfer them to the telephone call or an alternate telephone.
AUTOMATIC MODE
* The Central Guard Unit can call and receive calls from the telephones.
* The outdoor panels can call the telephones directly.
* Calls from the outdoor entry panel to the telephones are monitored by the
Guard Unit, the guard may answer the calls or not and transfer them to
the particular residence or any other if he wishes.
NIGHT MODE
* The Central Guard Unit does not respond to telephone calls or calls from
the entry panels. It operates as if it were an additional outdoor entry panel.
* The outdoor entry panels can call the telephones directly.
