4 FEATURES
4.1 Release Button
The release button is located on the nose of the fastening system
(Figure 1). Press the button to unlock the compatible Ferno product for
unloading. See “Using the Fastening System on page 14.
4.2 Safety Hook
The safety hook is located on the nose of the fastening system (Figure 2).
During both the loading and unloading processes, the safety hook holds
the compatible Ferno product securely inside the ambulance while the
operators raise and lower the undercarriage legs.

4.3 Fastening-Post Retainer
The fastening-post retainer is located on the nose of the fastening
system (Figure 3).
The fastening-post retainer captures the control-end post of the
compatible Ferno product and helps hold it in the fastening system
during vehicle transport.
