Why FILL-RITE Water Pump won't prime?

If your FILL-RITE Water Pump isn't priming, several factors could be at play. Start by checking the suction line for any leaks. Inspect the bypass valve to ensure it moves freely and is clear of debris. Examine the vanes and slots for any signs of wear, nicks, or burrs. Inspect the rotor and vanes for excessive wear or damage, replacing them if necessary. Also, verify that the pump outlet, hose, nozzle, and filter are free from blockages. Vapor lock can also prevent priming; try reducing the vertical and horizontal distance from the pump to the liquid and remove the automatic nozzle.
