Why does my Firman P05701 Portable Generator engine run good at no-load but bogs down when loads are connected?

If your Firman Portable Generator runs well without a load but bogs down when you connect devices, it could be due to several reasons: * A short circuit in the connected load. Try disconnecting the electrical load. * The generator is overloaded. See the manual section about not overloading the generator. * A clogged or dirty fuel filter. Clean or replace the fuel filter.
