Drying Progress Lights
Drying Progress Lights
There are five progress lights located above the SMART
TOUCH CYCLES that let you monitor the progress of your load
so you can tell at a glance where the dryer is up to.
When the dryer is started, the DRYING light appears, letting
you know that the dryer is in the process of drying the load.
When the dryer senses that the load is beginning to dry, the
DAMP light will glow (the DRYING light will still be on). Once
the DAMP level is reached, the DRYING light will be turned off,
leaving only the DAMP light on. At this stage, the dryer will
sound a couple of beeps to indicate that delicate, light-weight
fabrics and garments can be removed from the dryer.
When the dryer senses that load is DAMP/DRY, both the
DAMP and DRY lights will be on.
The DAMP light will be extinguished when the load is dry,
leaving only the DRY light on. If you have chosen the DRY
setting the dryer will progress to COOL DOWN.
If you have selected a drier setting other than the default
setting (ie. DRY) the lights will continue through the
remaining progress lights. Refer to page 17.
The COOL DOWN light will come on when SmartLoadis in
the process of cooling down the dry load. This is where the
load is tumbled with no heat, decreasing the need for ironing.
COOL DOWN will continue until the dryer senses the clothes
have been cooled down sufficiently. The exception is TIME
DRY which has a fixed COOL DOWN period.
