SAFETY ADVICE REGARDING THE
R290 REFRIGERANT
Carefully read all warnings.
This appliance contains 45 g of R290
refrigerant gas.
R290 is a gas that is in compliance with
European environmental direcves. Do not
puncture any of the refrigeraon circuit
components.
For the defrosng process and to clean
the appliance, do not use any instruments
other than those recommended in this
manual (“Cleaning and maintenance”).
The appliance must be placed in an
environment free from connuously
operang sources of ignion (for example:
open ames, gas or electric devices in
operaon).
Do not puncture and do not burn the
appliance.
The refrigerant gases may be odorless.
The appliance should be installed, used,
and stored in an environment larger than
4 m2.
If the appliance is installed, used, or stored
in an unvenlated space, prevent the
pooling of any possible refrigerant leaks,
as this carries a danger of re or explosion
if the refrigerant is ignited by electric
heaters, ovens or other sources of ignion.
The appliance should be stored in a way
that avoids mechanical damage.
Technicians who perform work on
refrigeraon circuits should hold
appropriate cercaon, issued by a
credenaled authority, aesng to their
competence in handling refrigerants
in accordance with a specic standard
recognized by the trade associaons.
Repair services should be performed based
on the recommendaons of the appliance

technicians should be done under the
supervision of the person specialized in
handling ammable refrigerants.
GENERAL INFORMATION
For opmal performance of your
dehumidier:
Place the dehumidier on a solid and level
surface in an area with at least 50 cm (20
in) of open space on all sides to allow for
adequate air ow.
Do not place near a radiator or any other
heat source.
Ensure that all windows are closed for
maximum eciency.
Ensure that the lter is kept clean. This
prevents excess electricity consumpon
and ensures opmal eciency.
To prevent noise and/or vibraon, do not
place the appliance on a so or irregular
surface while in operaon.
To prevent damage, never insert any kind
of rod or other so or hard object into the
structure of the appliance.
The capacity of the dehumidier depends
on the temperature and the humidity of
the room.
At lower temperatures, less humidity will
be removed.
If there is an interrupon to the power
supply, the dehumidier will restart aer 3
minutes (depending on the model).
This automac interval period protects the
compressor.
