How to handle
Read carefully before assembling/keep and store instruction for reference
THE STABILITY OF YOUR CHAIR WILL BE RETAINED AND POSSIBLE SLACKENING OR RUPTURE OF
SEAMS WILL BE PREVENTED BY FOLLOWING THE TIPS BELOW:
• Do not drop down into the chair. Prevent people fom jumping around on the chair
• Do not sit on backrests, arrests, footrest or other fnctioning parts
• Do not push or pull the chair across the foor; to relocate it, ideally use two people lifting it fom below,
not by the arrests.
• Never sit on the arrest, as this is only designed to bear leaning weight. If used incorectly, the
upholstery can war or pucker, the filing can become displaced and if placed under extreme strain,
semans can tear
• Never sit on the built-in footrest, as it is not designed for this purose. If used incorectly, the hardware
components can bend or even break. Tis will result in fnctional failure.

• Do not reach into gaps or interediate spaces in the chair or touch moving metal parts.
• Do not allow children to initiate fnctions without supervision or to play with the chair.
• All fnctions may only be operated when you are sitting corectly in the chair.
• Before getting up fom your chair, retur all fnctions to their home position.
• Allways pull out the mains plug before wet cleaning the foor around the chair.
• In particular in the case of fnctional friture, after execution of relevant movement, the upholstery
cover will require smoothing or straightening to ensure that seams match.
• As a result of the fnction, creases and folds cannot be avoided in use, for instance creases caused by
moving headrests.
• With all fnctions the use of rotating and rveted joints or torsion sprngs can give rse to fnctionally
related noises. Running noises are materal related and cannot be avoided in any kind of drve system.
• Cleaning the composite and wooden shell: Use a damp cloth with a mild household detergent or a
composite care product.
• Do not use any highly concentrated bases, acids or halogens (chlorne).
• Do not use any cleaning agents that contain abrasive particles because they may damage the surface.
• Only use a dry cloth on the electrc panel.

Unpacking the chair
• Only transport your upholstered friture in the proper orginal packaging.
• Upholstered friture should only be transported by two or more persons.
• Use the handles on the transport box for transportation
• Never lift the upholstered friture at the side elements or headrest or footrest section
• Do not push or pull the upholstered friture, but lift it careflly
• Protect the transforer and mains supply line adequately durng transport against damage.
• Ensure sufficient fee space is available to allow all the different fnctions to be perfored.
• Protect the chair fom direct excessive sunlight and high heat, which may have a negative effect on
appearance and durability.
• Te chairs can only be used in a noral living room climate.
• Take care to ensure that the individual friture componets are corectly assembled.
• Te mains cable and electrcal supply cables must not be damaged.
• Te chair must be evenly aligned and level, not half on and half off rgs or carets.
• Chairs with electrcal fnction and cord are only peritted to rotate 270°, coresponding to 3/4 rotation
fom the starting position.
• Do not use shar or pionted objects to open the packaging (retracting blade cutters are strctly off limits)
• Remove any transport safeguards which may be present before first use.
