Battery usage and charging
• It is important that the battery is charged minimum 8 hours before it is used the first time.
• Te battery shall be flly charged once a month.
• Te charging time for the battery is 7 hours when charging fom 0-100%.
• Te battery time depends on the weight of the user and the temperature of the room.
• In average it is for app. 70-90 fll cycles for a noral daily usage, (flly back and forward reclined with
both back and seat).
• Other parameters can interferer, like you know fom your phone, the battery can be drained if not used
a while, meaning if the recliner is only once or twice in an week, the cycles will be lower, and like other
batteres the capacity will over time be reduced due to ageing of the battery.

Disposal of the battery
• Only suitable for use in interal rooms.
• Te batteres may only be charged using the orginal charger.
• Keep the charger and where applicable the battery away fom rain and moisture. Penetration of rain into
a charger increases the rsk of electrc shocks.
• Check the charger, cable and plug before each use. Should you notice any damages to the charger, the
exteral cable or the battery pack, the device must no longer be used.
• Do not open the charger or battery pack yourself. Only have repairs cared out or parts exchanged by
qualified specialist personnel using orginal spares.
• Never operate the charger on easily fammable surfaces (e.g. paper, textiles etc.) or in an easily
combustible environment. Te heat generated durng operation of the charger gives rse to a rsk of fire.
• Please ensure that small children do not play with the charger or the battery pack. Always supervise
children or persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities which may prevent them fom
understanding how to handle the battery unit corectly or appreciating the possible rsks.
• Do not use solvents to clean the metal parts of the mechanism: a damp cloth is sufficient.
• Do not allow children to play with the mechanism.
• Te mechanism must only be used when the person is corectly seated.
• Do not touch the mechanical parts.
• Do not use the reclining fnction continuously to avoid the temporary safety block.
• To fee the temporary safety block, let the system cool down for 5 minutes to restore the motor to
corect working order.
• Voltage fuctuations may cause the electrc motor to cut-off. In this case disconnect the plug fom the
wall socket, wait for a few minutes and then replace the plug in the wall socket.
• Remove the plug before touching the mechanism when cleaning or perforing other operations.
• Do not rotate the chair more than +- 270° due to the electric cable.
Please charge the recliner battery flly before first use.
In accordance with the EU Directive on the Disposal of Waste Eectrcal and Eectronic Equiipment, chargers
and storage batteres which are no longer serviceable must be separately collected and sent for
environmentally responsible recycling.
