Battery usage and charging
• It is important that the battery is charged minimum 8 hours before it is used the first time.
• Te battery shall be flly charged once a month.
• Te charging time for the battery is 7 hours when charging fom 0-100%.
• Te battery time depends on the weight of the user and the temperature of the room.
• In average it is for app. 70-90 fll cycles for a noral daily usage, (flly back and forward reclined with
both back and seat).
• Other parameters can interferer, like you know fom your phone, the battery can be drained if not used
a while, meaning if the recliner is only once or twice in an week, the cycles will be lower, and like other
batteres the capacity will over time be reduced due to ageing of the battery.

Disposal of the battery
• Only suitable for use in interal rooms.
• Te batteres may only be charged using the orginal charger.
• Keep the charger and where applicable the battery away fom rain and moisture. Penetration of rain into
a charger increases the rsk of electrc shocks.
• Check the charger, cable and plug before each use. Should you notice any damages to the charger, the
exteral cable or the battery pack, the device must no longer be used.
• Do not open the charger or battery pack yourself. Only have repairs cared out or parts exchanged by
qualified specialist personnel using orginal spares.
• Never operate the charger on easily fammable surfaces (e.g. paper, textiles etc.) or in an easily
combustible environment. Te heat generated durng operation of the charger gives rse to a rsk of fire.
• Please ensure that small children do not play with the charger or the battery pack. Always supervise
children or persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities which may prevent them fom
understanding how to handle the battery unit corectly or appreciating the possible rsks.
• Do not use solvents to clean the metal parts of the mechanism: a damp cloth is sufficient.
• Do not allow children to play with the mechanism.
• Te mechanism must only be used when the person is corectly seated.
• Do not touch the mechanical parts.
• Do not use the reclining fnction continuously to avoid the temporary safety block.
• To fee the temporary safety block, let the system cool down for 5 minutes to restore the motor to
corect working order.
• Voltage fuctuations may cause the electrc motor to cut-off. In this case disconnect the plug fom the
wall socket, wait for a few minutes and then replace the plug in the wall socket.
• Remove the plug before touching the mechanism when cleaning or perforing other operations.
• Do not rotate the chair more than +- 270° due to the electric cable.
Please charge the recliner battery flly before first use.
In accordance with the EU Directive on the Disposal of Waste Eectrcal and Eectronic Equiipment, chargers
and storage batteres which are no longer serviceable must be separately collected and sent for
environmentally responsible recycling.
