DIODE TEST
Forward bias: The meter displays the
forward voltage drop (Vr) up to 2V, and
beeps briefly for one diode drop
(V¿<0.7V). Reverse bias or open cir-
cuit: The meter displays OL. Short
circuit: The meter emits a continuous
tone.
CAUTION
Voltages exceeding 500V may dam-
age the meter.
