CAUTION
Before unwrapping wldebend option refer to
yellow static awareness sheet in the front parl
of 5100 Series manual.
I. Remove power from 5100 Series instrument
(calibrator).

Wideband Option -03
from the jack on the right hand side of the wideband
oscillator assembly to the one on the left side of the
wideband output assembly.
6. Holding the%& modules together lower the
oscillator into the second sIot behind the Ranging PCB
and the Wideband Output into the first slot. The cable,
coming from the Ranging PCB will have’to be connected
to the right hand

3, Remove screws holding top guard shield, then
remove the shield from the calibrator.
4. Loosen the tie down screw holding the white coax
cable to the rear of the forward most (Ranging) module.
Release the cable and rerighten the tie down screw,

connected,
interconnect the wideband oscillator and
output modules with the cable provided. The cable goes

cover; perform a functional test of the Wideband Option.
